We moved to Geauga County Ohio.” When Samuel Weaver wrote those words in his ledger in 1886, he could not have imagined that he would be the first Amish settler in a community that 130 years later would be the fourth largest Amish settlement in America, In addition to books, documents and artifacts relating to Amish history, some dating to the 16th century, the Library also has a small bookstore.
